Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a Catering Manager to join our team at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $55,300 – $74,600 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

Partner closely with client, guests, and catering staff to produce exceptional events that exceed guest expectations, drive referrals, and build positive brand awareness
Plan, coordinate, and execute all catering events from start to finish and ensure smooth and efficient service, high quality food and beverage and client satisfaction
Hire, train and schedule catering staff, ensuring they maintain company standards
Coordinate, organize and manage necessary banquet equipment, service staff and arrangements for each event
Order, manage inventory and ensure the quality of food, beverage, and supplies
Design and deliver appropriate catering menus by collaborating with clients and chefs. Meet with clients to discuss event details, including menu, budget, timeline and specific requirements
Financial responsibility in managing event budgets, creating financial reports, and tracking costs
Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, food safety standards, alcohol service compliance and other relevant regulations.

More about you

Minimum three years of catering management experience in an arena or other large venue is required
Experience in food preparation, inventory and cost control, scheduling, and purchasing
Excellent customer service orientation, communication, data analysis, and organizational skills
Ability to work event hours including some holidays, weekends, and evenings
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related preferred
