Delaware North Australia is hiring a Reporting, Risk and Control Officer to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin, Northern Territory. As a Reporting, Risk and Control Officer, you will be responsible for identifying, monitoring and assessing AML/CTF risks and controls across Mindil Beach Casino Resort’s operations. What will you do?
- Conduct risk assessments across operational and regulatory products, customers, and processes to identify and prioritise risks
- Design, implement, and continuously monitor the effectiveness of internal controls and operational safeguards
- Support the National Compliance Manager in facilitating risk workshops and control self-assessments (CSA) with business units
- Lead incident investigations to determine root cause and recommend preventative actions
Review business continuity and disaster recovery plans, coordinate annual testing, and ensure plans remain fit-for-purpose - Assist with the preparation of risk and control reporting to management and governance committees
More about you
- Experience in a risk management, operational controls, audit, or governance environment with a strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, standards, and best practices
- Experience with incident management, risk assessments, and controls design/testing and proven ability to conduct investigations and deliver root cause analysis reports
- Ability to obtain a NT Government Casino Operative Licence (Administration)
- NT Responsible Service of Gaming and NT Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Experience using GRC platforms and software
- Risk Management Certification, preferred
