Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Starbucks Supervisor to join our team at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. As a Starbucks Supervisor, you will oversee store operations, provide direction to team members, and contribute to Starbucks’ success by providing legendary customer service to all guests. What will you do?
- Supervise team members and complete store operational needs by assigning team members and following up on work results.
- Train and coach to service and operational standards, company policies, and procedures for both Starbucks and Delaware North.
- Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Starbucks and Delaware North.
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace, provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all guests by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
- Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
- Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer.
- Other duties as assigned.
More about you
- Must be 21 years old to apply and have a Valid Driver’s License.
- Minimum one year supervisory experience in a customer service and/or retail environment preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Previous experience working with point of sale (POS) system preferred.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
- Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products and store safety and security.
Physical requirements
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently immerses hands in water, soaps and sanitizer.
- May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on the season.
- May be required to work in confined and/or narrow spaces.
- Hazards include but are not limited to cuts from broken glass, slips, trips, falls, cuts, burns, and strains.
- Noise level may be moderate-to-high during busy times.
