The opportunity
Delaware North Australia is on the lookout for a proactive and reliable Storeperson to join our high-performing team at the Melbourne Cricket Ground – one of Australia’s most legendary sporting venues.
In this vital behind-the-scenes role, you’ll be part of the engine room that keeps our operations running smoothly. You will assist in maintaining the cleanliness of storage areas, ensuring goods are received, stored, and delivered in line with internal procedures and HACCP and Food Safety standards. What will you do?
- Assist with picking and delivering stock requests for food & beverage outlets within the venue
- Oversee stock rotation and accurate stock control
- Ensure the cleanliness of all cool rooms and associated store areas
- Uphold the tight security of all stock by ensuring compliance with all store procedures by operational departments
- Match delivery invoices to purchase orders, highlighting any discrepancies
More about you
- Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment
- A current Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Availability Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude
