What will you do?
- Follow supervisor’s assignments for opening and closing procedures, equipment set up and food production.
- Prepare food and beverage products per recipe guidelines using proper preparation, cooking techniques and sanitation guidelines.
- Safely and effectively clean and sanitize equipment according to procedures.
- Keep workstation clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
More about you
- Two years of related experience preferred, willing to train.
- Must be attentive and detailed oriented while working in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.
- Requires basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and properly proportion foods.
- Must follow procedures and take directions; work independently and in a team.
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must work rapidly in a fast paced environment while coordinating multiple orders.
- Able to stand for length of shift with frequent bending, lifting, reaching, stretching and grasping items.
- Exposure to variable temperatures and kitchen dangers such as heat, burns, scalds, cuts, slips and falls.
- Exposure to chemicals used to clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and surfaces.
