Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time and part-time Security Officers to join our team at Daytona Poker Room in Daytona Beach, Florida. $15.00 – $16.00 / hour

What will you do?
- Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor
- Conduct cash escorts as required
- Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity
- Maintain crowd control as required
- Defuse guest profanity and handle issues or complaints professionally
More about you
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to be licensed by State Gaming Commission
- Ability to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations when handling guest issues or complaints
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
Physical requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate through two way radio
- Bending, stooping, lifting and carrying occasionally
- Vision sufficient to perform duties day or night
- Exposure to an occasionally smoky and loud environment
