Delaware North is seeking a Director of Performance Marketing to lead paid and organic search and social media strategy, execution, optimization, and measurement across key consumer-facing businesses, with primary support across Parks and Resorts, Ember Entertainment, Patina Group, Sportservice, International and Boston portfolios. This role will be at our Corporate Headquarters in Buffalo, NY. This leader will be responsible for transforming paid media into a scalable growth engine that drives measurable demand, revenue, and profitability through best-in-class paid search and paid social programs. The role oversees a team of digital marketing managers, specialists, and analysts while serving as a strategic partner to subsidiary marketing teams, commercial leaders, analytics teams, and external agency partners.

Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $121,700 – $164,300 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
Performance Marketing Leadership
- Own enterprise performance across paid search and paid social channels, managing acquisition, conversion, revenue, and efficiency goals across Parks and Gaming
businesses. - Develop and execute annual and quarterly media strategies aligned to business objectives, seasonality, customer demand patterns, and revenue targets.
- Manage multi-million-dollar digital advertising investments and optimize budget allocation across brands, markets, audiences, and channels.
- Identify growth opportunities through testing, experimentation, audience expansion, creative optimization, and emerging advertising capabilities.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a medium-sized team of performance marketing professionals, including managers, specialists, and analysts
- Establish clear performance expectations, career pathways, and operating rhythms that enable accountability and professional growth
- Foster a culture grounded in analytical rigor, continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation
- Partner with Growth Marketing leadership on organizational planning, recruiting, succession planning, and capability development
Parks and Gaming Business Partnership
- Serve as the primary performance marketing partner for Parks and Gaming stakeholders
- Translate business goals into actionable media strategies that drive visitation, bookings, hotel occupancy, gaming revenue, database growth, loyalty participation, and customer acquisition
- Provide strategic recommendations based on customer behavior, competitive dynamics, market trends, and performance insights
- Measurement, Analytics and Optimization
- Establish channel-specific and business-level KPIs focused on revenue generation, ROAS, CAC, conversion rate, bookings, and lifetime value
- Partner with Analytics, CRM, and Marketing Technology teams to strengthen attribution, reporting, and measurement capabilities
- Develop executive-ready dashboards and performance reporting that connect marketing investments to business outcomes
Agency, Vendor, and Operational Excellence
- Lead relationships with search, social, technology, and analytics partners and hold partners accountable for performance, innovation, testing, and delivery
- Champion adoption of AI-enabled marketing practices and automation opportunities
- Develop repeatable operating models, processes, and governance that improve speed, consistency, and transparency
More about you
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, analytics, communications, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, or performance marketing, with 4 years of experience leading teams responsible for paid search, paid social, and digital acquisition
- Demonstrated success managing significant digital media budgets and delivering measurable business impact
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing agencies and large-scale performance marketing programs
- Deep expertise across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other major paid media platforms.
- Strong understanding of attribution, conversion tracking, analytics, audience strategy, campaign optimization, ROAS, CAC, conversion rate, bookings, and lifetime value
- Experience developing executive-ready dashboards and performance reporting that connect marketing investment to business outcomes
- Familiarity with Google and Meta ad and analytics platforms, Funnel.io, and enterprise reporting environments
- Ability to leverage first-party data, audience insights, attribution models, automation, and AI-enabled marketing practices
- Ability to build high-performing teams and lead through change with accountability and measurable results
- Experience working with consumer-facing businesses characterized by complex customer journeys and multiple brands or locations
- Preferred experience in hospitality, travel, gaming, tourism, entertainment, or multi-location consumer businesses
- Exposure to loyalty, CRM, and lifecycle marketing strategies
- Collaborative and influential partner with a growth mindset and continuous improvement orientation
