The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time or part-time Starbucks Barista to join our team at Grand Canyon in Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. As a Barista, you will provide the Starbucks Experience to our guests by delivering prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. Hourly wage can average $20.85 / hr (base pay of $14.35 / hr + tips) with top performers earning much more!

What will you do?
- Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks.
- Provides legendary customer service by understanding customers needs.
- Prepares food and beverages to standard recipes or customer’s request.
- Maintains a calm demeanor and sets positive example to the team.
- Assists with training by positive reinforcement, provides encouraging coaching as needed.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
- Other duties as assigned.
More about you
- Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.
- No high school diploma or GED required.
Physical requirements
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, grasping with hands and repetitive motions.
- Ability to remain stationary for the entire length of shift.
- Ability to perform normal lift and carry of stock up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to, and use of chemicals needed to clean and sanitize equipment, surfaces and areas.
