The opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is searching for a full-time Dining Room Supervisor to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Dining Room Supervisor, you will ensure the highest levels of service to our guests.
Pay
$23.00 – $23.00 / hour

What will you do?
- Ensure compliance with all departmental and organizational policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team members
- Assist managers in training and development of the team
- Assist managers in the management of staffing levels in accordance with established budgetary goals and business volume
- Inspect by walking through your assigned area to monitor team member and guest needs
- Lead hourly team members in the daily performance of their duties
- Ensure the unit is adequately stocked with all products and supplies needed for service
- Greet guests positively, treating each person as an individual and in a professional manner
More about you
- 1 year of related experience is required
- Proficiency in organizing tasks effectively and providing excellent guest service
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills including word-processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail required
- Showcase your ability to handle guest concerns, employing active listening techniques to resolve challenging and occasionally emotionally charged situations while preserving the guest’s satisfaction
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Fine dining experience is required
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift or carry 50 lbs
- Ability to stand or walk 100% of the time
