The opportunity
Delaware North Sportservice is hiring part-time Portable Vendors to join our team at Rate Field in Chicago, Illinois. As a Portable Vendor, you will be responsible for selling merchandise at portable food locations in the stadium.
Pay
$16.20 – $16.20 / hour

What will you do?
- Retrieve inventory from warehouse area and prepare for sale, report any inventory shortages
- Serve food and beverage items in correct proportions, following proper sanitation guidelines
- Greet guests approaching stand and utilize selling techniques
- Properly record all transactions via the point of sale system
- Perform clean-up duties to maintain the quality appearance of the work area
More about you
- Excellent guest service skills
- Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training
- Ability to accurately account for cash and inventory
- Ability to communicate with guests and receive orders
Physical requirements
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- May be exposed to variable temperatures depending on season
