The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Snowmobile and Snow Coach Guides to join our team at Yellowstone Vacations in West Yellowstone, Montana. Very few people are lucky enough to call Yellowstone their ‘office’ for 3 months in the winter. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving CDL or non-CDL vehicles and snowmobiles to give interpretive guided tours throughout Yellowstone National Park. The Certified Interpretive Guide course is required and provided to those without the certification.
Pay
$14.00 – $20.00 / hour

What will you do?
- Transport guests and associates in a safe manner
- Give quality interpretation about Yellowstone knowledge
- Ensure that proper maintenance is performed on the snowmobile/snow coach and report any mechanical or safety problems to management
- Must have a vaild drivers license with a clean driving record
- Follow regularly assigned routes and schedules
- Maintains accurate record keeping of passenger’s census
- Report any incidents or accidents to management immediately
- Always maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle
- Perform other duties as assigned
More about you
- Knowledge of Yellowstone National Park
- Large vehicle and/or snowmobile experience
- Ability to speak clearly and communicate well
- Must be able to commit for our entire season (December 1st-March 15th)
- Ability to handle and prepare for sub-zero temperatures for up to 10 hours
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Current First Aid/CPR valid through 3/15/2026
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate MCSA-5876 valid through 3/15/2026
Physical requirements
- Vision must be sufficient that the driver is not restricted in the performance of duties day or night
- Must be able to sit for long periods
- Must be able to stand and bend
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to hear traffic and security radio
