On behalf of our customer, Catawba Two Kings Casino, Delaware North is actively recruiting for a Director of Food and Beverage in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. As a Director of Food and Beverage, you will be responsible for acting as a strategic and operational leader overseeing the performance, guest experience, and profitability of all food and beverage outlets within a dynamic, high-volume casino environment. In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do?
- Lead and develop a multi-layered food and beverage team, including managers, chefs, mixologists, and frontline team members, while aligning departmental goals with overall casino objectives
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences across fine dining, casual dining, and bar operations by maintaining consistency, quality, and brand standards
- Drive profitability through menu engineering, pricing strategies, inventory control, and cost-saving initiatives across all venues
- Oversee compliance with health, safety, sanitation, licensing, and hospitality regulations, including gaming and alcohol laws
- Spearhead concept development, seasonal promotions, and beverage program enhancements, while collaborating cross-functionally to support broader property initiatives
- Lead training and performance standards, leveraging guest feedback and market trends to continuously evolve offerings and elevate the brand
More about you
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience in a high-volume resort or casino environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License and be at least 21 years of age
- Proficiency in food costing, recipe development software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite with strong knowledge of food and beverage financials, cost control, labor optimization, and P&L management
- Proven experience managing large food and beverage teams, overseeing multiple outlets, and maintaining profitability in a competitive food and beverage landscape, in both fine dining and high-volume casual or quick-service operations
- Experience in casino, resort, or entertainment-based environments and experience working in or leading teams at Michelin-starred restaurants or James Beard Award-winning establishments
- Expert-level knowledge and technical skillset, including advanced beverage knowledge, mixology, wine list curation, vendor management, and global cuisine familiarity
- Deep knowledge of ServSafe, TIPS, or other safety and alcohol certifications a plus
