Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring full-time Starbucks Supervisors to join our team at Grand Canyon National Park in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a barista supervisor, you will oversee store operations, provide direction to team members, and contribute to Starbucks’ success by providing legendary customer service to all guests. What will you do?
- Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the values of Starbucks and Delaware North.
- Responsible for opening and closing store, will supervise team members and operational needs by assigning tasks and coaching staff.
- Covers duties in the absence of team members, including cleaning and stocking.
- Quickly and effectively brings resolution to team member issues and concerns.
- Maintains clean and organized workspaces and storage areas.
- Provides quality beverages and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all preparation standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
More about you
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Minimum one year supervisory experience in a customer service and/or retail environment preferred.
- Previous cash handling and POS experience required.
- Must be experienced in labor laws pertaining to employee relations.
- Requires effective written and verbal communication and problems solving skills.
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays with regular and consistent attendance.
Physical requirements
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and grasping with repetitive motions.
- Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently immerses hands in water, soaps and sanitizer.
- May be exposed to variable temperatures.
- Exposure to, and use of chemicals used to clean and sanitize surfaces, areas, equipment and restrooms.
