Andrew, Banquet Captain: It’s an amazing way to spend the summer out here in the sun, out here in the air and the trees and all the animals. And we just have an amazing time out here. This is my favorite job position I’ve ever done.

Brett, General Manager: At Tenaya, at Yosemite, we have a little bit of everything. You could be cooking, you could be taking care of the guests out front. You could be cleaning rooms, you could be checking people in. We have a wonderful spa. Supervisors, we always need supervisors and as well as outdoor recreation. If you love working outdoors, we have a job for you.

Frederick, Executive Chef: We do a lot of different things. So it’s a good place to start. It’s a good place to build your career and hopefully become a chef if that’s what your goal is.

Carla, Lead Concierge: I love that there’s so many people from other countries that come all over the world to see Yosemite. How many planes and trains and automobiles have they taken to be here for this moment to ask me what should they do now that they’ve arrived?

Ethan, Tour Guide: The most rewarding part is showing people Yosemite for the first time. We get to see it every day. It never gets old, but when you get to see their look on their faces, when they see Yosemite for the first time, it’s really incredible.

Mike, Bellman: Delaware North, they’re a great company to work for. They treat their employees very well.

Lisa, Massage Therapist: I really like the people. I have a great boss and I love my coworkers. So the people you work with always makes a difference.

Carrie, Human Resources Generalist: Lots to do, but at the same time I get to be around my team. They pick me up. They keep me going because I get to give them the opportunity for their success. And I’m there for them.

Gary, Duty Manager: Delaware North is a fabulous company to work for. It allows you to have growth. It has allowed me to expand my knowledge in the areas that I never thought of before. And I could not have done that with any other job.

Brandon, Server: Delaware North, it’s, out of every job I’ve ever had, this has felt like the most diverse. It has given me something new to expect every day that I come in. I get to see so many different types of guests, and it’s just been a very fun, fulfilling experience through all of that.

Caleb, Server: I can truly say that I come up here to be able to see people and enjoy the people I work with. And it’s fun. I don’t know where I’d be without being able to be here and be able to have the people that I work with because they’re like my lifeline.

Ethan, Tour Guide: It’s going to sound really corny, but it is magical. I mean, Yosemite, every single time of year is different. So you can see it from one month to the next, and the change is just incredible. And seeing it every day happen in real time, it’s magical.

Carla, Lead Concierge: I see the deer and the fox crossing the roads, it’s phenomenal. I live a vacation. What people come to pay for to be on vacation, I live the dream and get paid for it. And I love it.
