What’s your favorite part about interning at Delaware North?
“One of my favorite parts about this internship was getting a behind-the-scenes look at how Delaware North’s divisions operate. We had the opportunity to visit both Niagara Falls State Park, managed by Delaware North’s Parks and Resorts division, and Cleveland’s Progressive Field, overseen by Delaware North Sportservice. Both venues gave us an overview of how they get ready for large-scale gameday and guest operations.”
What advice or tips would you share with future interns at Delaware North?
“I believe that getting involved and learning from others is key to succeeding as an intern. Be open to any project that comes your way and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone!”
What was your favorite learning experience during your Delaware North internship?
“One significant learning experience I had was during the Monday talk series. These were sessions with senior leadership that were incredibly helpful for gaining valuable career advice and perspective about being new in the workforce. Along with career development advice, they also shared their own professional journeys, making these sessions relatable for interns. This series gave us direct access to network with leadership, which not only shaped my professional perspective, but deepened my understanding of Delaware North’s vision.”
