Globe Life Field Team Member Life Video

Michael, Catering: Working for Delaware North at Globe Life Field is an absolute blessing. It’s so much fun. We’re a team and we all work as a team.

Jennifer, Server: I love to entertain people. They come to have a good time, and I like to have fun, and I get paid to have fun and I get paid to make them have fun.

Ruby, Retail: I think what makes it special, especially here working from other retail jobs, is the work environment. My colleagues here make the workday go very smoothly.

Gary, Vendor: I would say the term “hospitality” probably defines it more than anything. You’re here to help the guests have a good time.

Casey, General Manager: It’s all building up to whatever event that’s going to happen. And then it’s let’s get everybody out. Let’s get cooking, let’s get the T-shirts out so that we’re ready when those doors open for the fans.

Jennifer, Server: The average day is making sure that the guests have a great time and they leave happy; and they would recommend Globe Life Field.

Gary, Vendor: If it’s a 7:00 game, getting here around 4:30, setting up my car, making sure the beer is iced down, all my snacks are ready to go.

Ruby, Retail: A typical day for me is coming in, making sure the store is prepped and ready before we open. Game days are a little more hectic, but they’re super fun. Once gates open, everyone’s on the register, cashing everyone out.

Amanda, Bartender: My Delaware North proud moment would be working for the World Series. I got to work the watch party here and it was a lot of fun. It was very intense and very exciting.

Michael, Catering: I mean I got to watch the World Series here. That’s a beautiful park and seeing all of our awesome customers getting to witness what I witnessed as well, very, very awesome.

Jennifer, Server: We all thrive on watching each other succeed, providing a positive work environment, being supportive of each other no matter what it takes to get that accomplished.

Casey, General Manager: We definitely work together. It’s not just one department. If retail needs something, food and beverage jumps in. If food and beverage needs something, retail’s willing to jump in.

Michael, Catering: The team camaraderie. When you’re in a pinch, someone else is going to pick you up.

Casey, General Manager: There is that special culture here at Delaware North, just the entire experience together makes it somewhere where you want to work and that you want to stay.

Amanda, Bartender: It’s not every job that you get to work, watch a baseball game, have fun, and cheer on with the crowd.

Gary, Vendor:  It’s fun interacting with the fans. Everybody comes here to have a good time so they’re in a good mood.

Jennifer, Server: What I love most about Delaware North and working at Globe Life Field is everything. I really do not have one negative thing to say about Globe Life Field.

Michael, Catering: We’re a big team and that’s just like what we have on the field. It’s a big team. I love it.

Busch Stadium: Intern Day in the Life

Austin, Intern: What’s going on everybody? My name is Austin and I’m going to take you through the day in the life as an intern at Delaware North at Busch Stadium in Saint Louis as we host the Savannah Bananas.

First things first, we show up to the office area, say what’s up to our bosses. Next we have our first pre shift with our catering attendants. A lot of food changes here when the Bananas came into town.

Next one of my jobs is to do some paperwork for the bartenders and watch them go through the bartender check in meeting. After that, I was able to meet up with my other intern and ask what her favorite part of Delaware North was.

Intern: My favorite part of Delaware North is probably being here with the workers and everything, it’s such a family atmosphere.

Austin, Intern: Next, I went ahead and polished up some of these chafers, to make them look shiny. Check out the food we were serving in these suites. I got hungry just looking at it!

Next, I went ahead and met up with one of my bartenders and she wanted to say hi to the camera. Next, I went and took inventory of the cooler; did you know they served Savannah Banana beer? Because I did not.

I ate my dinner very fast because it was so good. Had a little bit of free time after that. So, I went ahead and watched the Bananas play. Here’s a better view from the green seats at Bush Stadium.

After that, I ran into the Savannah Bananas Band.

Next, I was able to talk to one of my supervisors about her favorite part of working here.

Supervisor: It’s a fun and exciting job and we’re a big work family. We’re all one big team.

Austin, Intern: I went downstairs and watched the phone for a little bit. Took some orders after that. Did bartender check out, a little bit more paperwork and organizing.
