The opportunity
Delaware North Australia is seeking a casual Administration Assistant to join our Talent Acquisition team at Head Office in Docklands. As Administration Assistant, you’ll provide support across our hospitality recruitment activities, with a focus on high-volume hiring. This includes coordinating group interviews, managing candidate communications and bookings, supporting on-the-day interview logistics, and ensuring candidates are compliant and ready for offer.
This is an exciting entry level opportunity to join our Talent Acquisition team, with hands-on learning and support from an experienced team members.

What will you do?
- Manage all check ins at group interviews, including emails, and follow up calls
- Respond to email inquiries across the Careers inbox
- Ensure administrative tasks are well managed, supporting seamless recruitment during peak hiring period
- Assist with compliance checks in a timely manner
- Create excel tracking spread sheets, to track progress
- Assist with all follow ups, re-booking candidates into group interviews and updating a reliable spread sheet
- Use our applicant tracking system to update candidates at various stages
More about you
- Administrative experience with intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel
- Willingness to learn and strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability of work
- Confident in delivering clear, professional communication in all interactions.
- Availability: Monday to Friday, varying hours, with flexibility for early or late starts during group interviews
- Background in HR, studying or has completed a Human Resources degree, or relevant HR/Recruitment experience is advantageous
